Budu Medtech company announces the appointment of Denis Shvetsov as CEO.

Budu is a medtech health management service covering in-house doctors, advanced clinics and high-tech telemedicine platform. At the end of 2021, the number of users having access to Budu services exceeded 400,000. The company has offered more than eighty thousand online consultations. Renaissance Insurance Group is one of shareholders of Budu holding 49% stake in the company.

At Budu, the key objective for Denis Shvetsov is to make the company a digital medicine leader. To achieve this goal, he will be deeply involved in the development of digital products for comprehensive medical care, customer experience and technology-based solutions offering new window of opportunities to insurance and other medical companies.

Before his Budu appointment, Denis Shvetsov headed the Doctor Ryadom telemedicine service and was its co-founder. Previously, Denis worked for Allianz Insurance Company for eight years, where he was responsible for the development and arrangement of Voluntary Medical Heath care. Prior to joining insurance industry, Denis held senior positions at Skylink and Rostelecom. Denis is Chairman of the Board of the National Telemedicine Development Association (NTMA). He is the 2020 EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Medicine. He has gratitude from President of the Russian Federation for his active participation in the organization and implementation of public projects aimed at social support of citizens during coronavirus pandemic. Denis graduated with honors from the Geography Faculty of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, he holds MBA diploma of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (the RANEPA).

Vladimir Tinyakov, previously CEO of Budu, will continue his service in the Sputnik Group.
